Saturday 10th August saw the playing of our annual Finals Day with 7 of our 11 match plays reaching their conclusion. The rain gave way to the sun for most of the day but there was a good old fashioned Fereneze breeze to test all the players. The Gents Championship was contested by Richie Elrick, playing in his 6th final and Michael Hart Jr, making his finals debut. The junior final saw 2 of our successful Fleming Watson team (and Brand Putter players) go head to head with Ethan Lang facing off against Calum McLelland.
We also had the Presidents Cup (handicap club championship) Fairfax Cup, Hugh Ross Trophy, Victory Shield and Harelaw Shield finals taking place.
We used live scoring for the 1st time on Finals Day giving members in the clubhouse and on their devices on the go to keep up to date with the scores.
